Solution In Beard Transplantation

Beard and mustache inherent in men are part of the aesthetic appearance. In recent years, since beard and mustache have come into fashion, the beard transplantation process has increased. The beard may not grow in some men for many reasons.

Genetic reasons, as well as skin diseases, are effective in this regard. Accidents and similar situations can also cause the death of the facial tissues. Because of the dead tissues, the beard does not grow. Thin beard and beard that grows only on the jaw may compromise the aesthetic appearance of an individual. As the thick beard became fashionable, the interest in the transplantation of beard was increased.

First Stage

Persons with a thin beard or no beard prefer transplantation for thickening. The first stage in this category is the examination of the facial tissue. The nape area is also examined. If there is enough hair in the nape area, transplantation may be performed.

The roots of the hair in the back of the head are examined. A blood test is also carried out. After the blood test, the decision of transplantation is made. Other diseases that may be problematic should not be neglected. If the patient has especially hemophobia, this condition should be indicated.

Blood analysis

A blood test is performed prior to the operation. The reason for this is to prevent problems that may occur during transplantation. The patients with cardiac conditions, blood pressure problems, and similar diseases should stop taking blood thinners for two days. The patient is prepared for transplantation after the tests.

Measures to be Taken Before Beard Transplantation

1- Aspirin-type medications, cardiac medications, and similar medications should be stopped 2 days in advance. These drugs prevent clotting. In this case, transplantation is not performed.

2- Blood-related medications should be interrupted for a certain period of time. Serious diseases such as leukemia and hepatitis B should be considered.

3- Blood-thinning foods such as lemon and garlic should not be consumed before the operation. Other blood-thinning foods should also be considered.

4- Cherry juice or sour cherry juice should not be consumed.

5- Milk and milk products also cause blood thinning. Therefore, milk and milk products should not be consumed.

6- The patient should be rested. The duration of the operation is long. Exhausting works should be avoided.

7- The clothing with narrow necks should not be worn. In particular, sweaters should not be worn. After beard transplantation, the sweater-like clothes get caught into the beard. As a result, bleeding occurs. For this reason, the patient should wear button-up shirts or clothes with wide-necks.

8- Sausage, bacon, and garlic food that cause foul breath should not be eaten.

9- Your hair should be clean. It should be washed with shampoo. Hair gel, spray, and similar hair cosmetics should not be used.

10- No intoxicating, harmful substances such as alcohol should be used. Alcohol thins the blood as well as causing intoxication. Therefore, it certainly should not be used.

Anesthesia

Local anesthesia is applied in the beard transplantation process. The area where the beard is to be transplanted and the posterior part of the head are anesthetized. The patient is conscious during the anesthesia. Blood analysis is taken into consideration in anesthesia procedures. Patients with diabetes and renal and cardiac conditions are carefully examined in this category. With the approval of the specialist physician, transplantation begins. Allergic conditions should be indicated during the procedure of anesthesia.

Features of Operation

The bristles to be transplanted on the face are harvested from the area behind the head. The hair on the back of the head is the hair with the strongest roots. The structure of this beard is like that of the hair. So if the hair at the back of the head is curly, the beard also grows curly.

Thickening or partial transplantation of the beard depends on the patient's wishes. 1000 to 5000 grafts (hair follicles) can be transplanted. The duration of transplantation is based on the number of grafts. Transplantation of 1000 grafts lasts 2-3 hours, while transplantation of 2000 grafts lasts 4-5 hours. Breaks are given during the transplantation process. The transplantation process continues after tea and food breaks. Transplantation is performed according to the shape of the beard. Transplantation can be performed in the face as desired.

After Operation

1- The patient should rest after transplantation.

2- The patient should not lift heavy objects and should lie on back.

3- The individual should not have a bath for two days. After two days, the individual should have a bath with special shampoo. In the washing process, the transplanted area should be paid attention to.

4- It should not be itched when itching occurs.

5- Swelling may occur when the patient does not rest. In order to avoid this situation, the patient should follow the resting program.

6- Smoking should be avoided. Cigarette smoking can cause infection.

7- Dusty environments should be avoided. It is necessary to rest in hygienic environments. Heavy work should not be done.

8- Alcohol should not be consumed. Narcotics should be avoided.

9- Energy drinks should be avoided. Since energy drinks provide energy, the patient feels the need to move. In this case, swelling may occur in the face.
